 Avro Lancaster PA474 was built in 1945 but never used in any hostilities. It took part in 2 films, ‘Operation Crossbow’ and ‘The Guns of Navarone’.

It has recently completed a major restoration and repainted in the markings of EE139 'Phantom of the Ruhr' being part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight since 1973. It is one of only two Lancasters still flying the other being in Canada.

No. Between 1933 and 1935 there were two national flags, the Nazi swastika flag and the old German Empire black-white-red tricolour. From 1935 to 1945 only the swastika flag was used.
