As first year I set 1927, but not sure was it with sound - "dźwiękowy" since begining and what they really understood by such name. Edit: At least in the 1934 it was still silent... 38/06A - some other vehicles. Two cars in reportage from Austria: Great Britian - the very old mail train: And presentation of the newest one: Some air show in Australia: And in the US: 39/05A: MS Piłsudski: 39/08: Introduction of the brand new "transatlantic" Chrobry, which unfortunately has been bombed and completly destroyed by the Luftwaffe in the next year: -- Last edit: 2011-04-23 17:06:26 |

PAT (Polish Telegraph Agency) weekly newsreel; out of ~600 made approx. 100 reels survives today (in September 1939 PAT archive was hit by incendiary bomb... just what those nitrate films needed...). "Speaking of the devil": approx. 5% Polish silent movies survived + 70% talkies (1930-39). |

I don't like the episode numbering you've chosen, it isn't very intuitive. How to read it: "05A38" means "May 1938", letters are given to differentiate various reels from other weeks of the given month. |

This numbering is rather not so complicated. The year we can move at the front indeed. Letter should stay. |

Letters must stay, I know. I suggest formatting them like this: 1937-07B 1938-05A 1935-03 #12A 1935-07 #29 |

We have space only for 5 signs. |

OK, this I didn't know. So there's only one choice: 3707B 3805A This will at least make sense when 'sort by episode' option is used (sorting by year, not by month as it is now). |

Done. I've also cut off the black edge of the Cadillac pic, it is better to do it - pics look better. Edit 2011! Meanwhile the episode field has been expanded (6 sings now), so it was possible to change ep. format to yy/eee. Wll before the change I didin't notice you proposed "-" instead of "/", but it doesn't make bigger difference I think. -- Last edit: 2011-04-23 17:07:12 |
