Yes, it was the only Polish deepwater-port in that times, correct? In January 1945 my grandmother and my father have entered a ship there. The next one after the "Wilhem Gustloff". |

Yeap. Lucky ingo's grandparents! Deadly torpeding of "Gustloff" should be listed as war crime. |

Same place, same ship, similar bus: Link to "www.ronet.pl" |

It should not. It was an escorted ship of a belligerent state during the war. U-boots sunk hundreds of neutral freighters, not mentioning passenger ships, like Laconia, Empress of Britain etc. Pity for those onboard. But it is off-topic. -- Last edit: 2010-05-17 19:37:14 |

Looks like Chevrolet (Gdynia had Chevies from Lilpop). (turned out that my book had wrong caption) One of these. My bet is on one of the GMC models, T-33? http://www.zkmgdynia.pl/index1.php?action=07 They say Gdynia bought those buses from Yellow Truck & Coach? /vehicle_13333-Yellow-Coach-1929.html /vehicle_258544-Yellow-Coach-1934.html OK, now I'm confused... -- Last edit: 2024-06-24 16:13:57 (antp) |
