Govt. Public Information Film free to view on BFI see- https://player.bfi.org.uk/free/film/watch-night-call-1977-online Quite atmospheric short film about the dangers of looking under public toilet doors and obsessive stalking with selection of 70s cars that I will post if film approved. Exotic British rain soaked motorway locations also feature . -- Last edit: 2020-04-08 10:01:13 |

It's OK to me, you can go ahead with the other vehicles. |

@jcb - I watched this a year or two ago, but BFi's stupid blurry device when you pause playback defeated me. Can you get any useful capture of the silver Escort 1300E on the right at 06-48 or the citron yellow Marina TC Jubilee in the rain at 11-04?? Both are 1 but rare enough to get pages, particularly the Marina (but it's a crappy sequence to grab anything from). |

Did you post a message about it ? it was in the back of my mind all the time that you had done this film but could find no trace of it so went ahead. The 1300E is nice and stuck out to me so will post the best shot. -- Last edit: 2020-04-09 09:02:58 |

The crash scene . Firemen have R.B.F.B on their jackets so guess Royal Berkshire Fire Brigade and their Ford Transit rescue tender at the back on the right and on left probably a Thames Valley Police accident unit . Shame no better views Link to "www.emergency-vehicles.co.uk" -- Last edit: 2020-04-09 09:52:02 |

I put a comment down here after someone else had mentioned it. We've only got one other Marina TC Jubilee but agree - sadly - we should probably let this one go. I get the impression watching it again that there were lots of assorted crew cars buzzing around on the motorway clips - one standout because of the distinctive colour is a bright light blue Cortina Mk3, seen perhaps 3-4 times and always very background. It was a rare (73 only??) colour, so not many of them made. |
