Coming up as long-term project. I remember it as superb TV drama - fingers crossed it still works 20+ years later.

Good to see this getting added :) I had been looking for it but each time I looked the DVDs were unobtainable at a decent price.

The computer in episode 2.07 is an Amstrad PC1512 (or maybe PC1640) with a Wyse terminal plonked on top.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PC1512

The computer in 1.12 doesn't appear to match the Amiga 1000:
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Amiga_A1000_IMG_4277.jpg

The monitor was probably connected to a computer behind the camera outputting a composite PAL signal, probably an Amiga or an Acorn Archimedes. CRT monitors on set had to have a 50 Hz refresh rate to match the 50 Hz PAL television cameras or 25 fps film cameras, otherwise there would be obvious flickering and dark bars rolling up the screen.

Back in the late 1980s and early 1990s you could see the same composite monitors sitting on top of all kinds of computers in television dramas. It became pretty obvious when tilt and swivel stands became common on PCs, because these monitors didn't have them. You hardly ever saw a PC running real software, but you might see the Amiga desktop on a Commodore monitor sitting on top of a PC. :)

Likewise, American productions used customised hardware to synchronise on set monitors to 24 fps film cameras.

Completed. S1 was pretty good - started slowly but built up to some good episodes later. S2 again started slowly but later episodes were superb and show why this series got such a high reputation. S3 was good but episodes became too complicated as plots began to get a bit silly, so perhaps for the best that plans for a S4 were abandoned.

More computers:

- ep3.07 laptop (or typewriter-ish thing?)

Planes in case there's a database anywhere out there which wants some - all from ep3.05, probably filmed at Heathrow (or perhaps Gatwick)
