I did not finish watching the movie. Here is the problem. When Seth gloats about knowing the specs on a 1969 GTO Judge he states the engine is a 455 H.O. Well, I own a 1969 Judge and know that the 455 CID engine was not available for the GTO in 1969. GM execs had made a "gentlemens agreement" with other manufacturers to not put any engine larger than 400 cubic engines into a mid-size (musclecar) vehicle (For safety, insurance and liability reasons - cars were just getting too fast by 1969). The 455 engine WAS available for GTO's beginning in 1970 and 1971 - after the displacement ceiling of 400 CID(gentlemens agreement) was thrown into the trashcan. For a movie that puts so much emphasis on a star vehicle in its plot line - you would think they would get the facts straight. Unfortunately, for me, the movie just lost its credibility at that point and I pressed "stop" on the remote. Call me a purist. |

Clark Duke called it a Winnebago. I doubt it, although it looks like a familiar manufacturer. I'm making a serious effort to find out what it truly is. -- Last edit: 2020-04-17 18:13:58 |

Better shot of the alleged "Winnebago" right here: But I have a real one coming, even if it's just a background one. |
