Set in 1986-87, and basically a trashy bonkbuster - ominously it's based on the second of a series of 13 so there's lots of potential for sequels. Full of wooden 2-dimensional panto characters and soap opera plots. That said, it eventually develops some three-dimensionality for a handful of them, is well produced for visuals, locations, scenery and that sort of thing. Has lots of well chosen nice cars to enjoy, and a few blink-and-miss-it background moments of incidental humour which made me chuckle - I got the feeling they all enjoyed making such a frivolous romp. Planes for impdb, both with faked liveries - Concorde for opening of ep1 - last thumb means they reached Mach 1. Cabin scenes apparently inside a real Concorde on museum display - the chopper in "Corinium" livery - it's a fake TV company. 1st thumb credits for every ep, others from eps 1 (2-4) & 7 (5&6)
