 What a romantic sight. a Danish Kro. I tried to find any of them in 2010 but unsuccessfully and I was told they don't exist more. What a pity. You had good and traditional food without spending a fortune. I have good memories of my youth spent in Kroes in the 80s.

 Actually, the specific kro that was used in the filming still operates, however the original building as it appeared in this film burnt to the ground 12 years after filming took place.
