DidierF ◊ 2015-10-26 16:14	A movie directed by Tai Katô, with Makoto Satô, Chieko Baisho, Sanae Nakahara, Oh Ran Fan, Kin Sugai, Yoshiko Sawa… in a rather unknown order for me (except for Chieko Baisho). Well… First I would have said a mannierist movie, but actually "hysterical" would be more appropriate. A story of rape (but it's a boy who is raped by five women) and vengeance but "the executioner" is not related to the boy excepet they both came from Hokkaido. The character developments are rather puzzling, except for Chieko Baisho's part. For the rest, strange angles given for their supposed pictural value, lusty women, awe, terror, hysterical shoutings (even from the police inspectors in meeting, this is really frightening!), some overexposed sequences, bondage at the beginning, Maybe the movie is some sort of a stepping stone in direction of a explicit sadist tendancy in Japanese cinema, or towards pinku (of which this one is not part). I don't know and can't find, for the moment. Nevertheless, many moments make the viewing rewarding. Étrange objet que ce film de Tai Kato. Je le trouvais maniériste au début, mais il finit dans une explosion hystérique de violence sadique et autodestructrice. Des femmes désœuvrées et violeuses trouvent la juste récompense de leur mauvais comportement dans une mort atroce, l'une après l'autre, toutes les cinq. Les motivations du juge-juré-exécuteur (Makoto Satô) sont euh… … à l'image de ses expressions faciales : relativement complètement indéchiffrables. Que faisait Chieko Baisho là-dedans ? Bah, actrice, elle bossait. À notre grande satisfaction, puisqu'elle donne à son personnage une charge émotionnelle et une lisibilité remarquables. Pour le reste, ce film marque peut-être une étape dans la visibilité d'une tendance du cinéma japonais, l'exploitation graphique d'un sadisme sans fard. Mais ce n'est qu'une supposition. En tout cas, ce fut une marque discrète car il m'est pour l'instant impossible de trouver trace de l'impact du film, qui n'est même pas commenté sur IMDb. Au fait, je me suis bien marré quand même.
