It's a brand new drama series from Canada which premiered in March 2010. -- Last edit: 2010-06-24 07:50:46 |

Nice row of old Renaults. The red one is an Ondine, then two Dauphines, and in teh second thumbnails two Dauphines and a 4CV in the middle. Special front indicator on the left Dauphine, and chrome trim where French versions didn't have it: 'made for GB' |

The Renault scrapyard is interesting - presumably a Canadian location like the rest of the series, but 2 UK registered cars - Dynamike's red Ondine (OSJ 524 = Buteshire, now Argyll in Scotland, with a tax disc holder in windscreen) and the white Dauphine on left of 2nd thumb (WBD 80 = Northamptonshire, possibly a cherished number, and different sidelights). Both registrations probably late 1950s-early 1960s. How, when and why did they end up here? |

Ep. 1.12 has a nice Bullitt-style chase between the Ford Mustang and the Dodge Challenger. |

Can someone please regroup the Crown Vic's? I have validated them all, because I don't know the year. All one and two stars can be merged on one page. -- Last edit: 2011-07-16 07:37:46 |

I've ID'd them all so whoever regroups them can use my info and do so accordingly. |

DSL-how do you find the registration information on the cars? Its fascinating to see all the details about the cars on-screen and what became of them. |

Mostly from http://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/index.jsp - see imcdb links page for this and other UK plate check sites. Also some UK registration lists in books - I can now add that WBD 80 on the second Renault was issued May - June 1960. Still intrigued by these 2 English cars in foreign setting. |
