In the film also destroy a Mercedes 190 (destroyed with the DS), a Peugeot 205, a BMW 1602 and Alfa Romeo Sprint...

Explorer4X4 wrote You know what is hilarious? Aas, the DS looks like it was designed to look like as if it were ment to fly like a plane and it sertainly did in this movie! :D

Et si quelqu'un peut trouver la DS de Fantômas, volante, avec ses ailes, le but initial du dessin de la DS aura été atteint. Même cinquante ans après sa sortie. La DS en avance sur son temps? :king: :sun:

antp wrote DS are cheap too, as they are much older and that it was produced in a very large count (including ID, DSuper, and few other that are very similar to the DS).

1 330 755 DS/ID or D produced from 1955 to 1975 + 124 991 produced abroad (most of them in Belgium)

Lots left for smashing up then. Best thing you can do with that buck ugly heap.

I'll not reply anything to that to stay polite :p

Best ram it with an E-Type, that way you get rid of two automotive atrocities in one go.

On the other hand, for the E-Type I agree as I do not like it :D

How can you not at least admire the E-Type for being a car the set the "swinging sixties" in motion + is an automotive icon. I mean, great looks and handling, 150mph (240 km/h) top speed off the showrom floor w/ "only" a 6 cyl engine + alot of sex appeal. Sounds like a winner in my book... :sun:

PS - I do not own one or have stock in the company.. ;)

...is it in the trailer only, or was it missed by the previous contributors?

I ask because you say "from the trailer", but you gave it a role.

We will ask antp to add you to be a poster who can add replacement pics for validation. He is away for a few days, so it may not happen until he returns.

Just funny :) According to the movie, this short episode set in the Brooklyn, New York, but this scene, probably, was shot in Sofia, Bulgaria - cyrillic shop-signs, vehicles like VAZ and Škoda... and look at the crowd of onlookers at the background!

Perhaps they were trying to pass it off as Brighton Beach.

Quote New York City is home to the largest Russian or Russophone population in the Western Hemisphere. The largest Russian-American communities in New York City are located in Brighton Beach and Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn. Brighton Beach has been nicknamed Little Odessa due to its population of Russian-speaking immigrants from the former Soviet Union.
