a.k.a. 'A certain killer', by Kazuo Mori, specialized in 'Zatoichi'. With Raizô Ichikawa for lead character (see his wikipedia file), understandable that this rather short movie looks like a story of Parker, Donald Westlake/Richard Stark's hero, here a hitman if not a burgler, but a loner too. Something tells me that this could have been the first of a serial. Unfortunately, the actor was to die at 37 from cancer.

Well, actually, the plot of the film is not exactly waterproof but we see at least one very good hit.

Enjoyable little movie, and interesting "pseudo-Greek" score. Good photo, as usual in Japan.

About the vehicles… One moped which is maybe a scooter and the yakuza's car, seen only partly from the front, promise to be difficult to identify, don't they?
