No, my wife does I don't revise car-accident and injuries, I'm doing with burned houses, burglaries, storm, hail, broken water pipes and so on. The colleagues of the car-crash-divisions don't hve toy models in their desk - but the special investigators for field service have. And toy models were indeed also used at court-proceedings. Years ago, when I had to be at a proceeding of a crash, I had, the investigator had also toy models. The lawyers and the judge have looked a bit irritated, when I said "The RO 80-toy shall be used for my car!" A little anecdote happened afterwards. The judge, an older lady, asked me "You have an old Volkswagen?" - "Yes" - "I had also an old Volkswagen. Until last Friday. It was a Käfer from 1967, my first own car. But now some repairs are needed, as the broken seat-arresting. But well, it already had 30.000 km on the clock" -it was in the mid-90ies!- "So I gave it away to some VW-freaks for a few D-Mark. They very happy to get it." I looked at her with big eyes "Oh, what a shame, it's one week too late. I know several Käfer-specialists. They would have fixed these little things for not much money" - then the judge cried... I nearly had to cry too - a nearly 30 year-old-classic VW, 30.000 km, first hand, tiniest defects, was sold to some morons, which surely have loughed over and over afterwards about this dream-deal - and it would have been avoidable! |

Audi Q7 is from Hongwell/Cararama, the rest is from Corgi Vanguards. Looks like the prop department sent someone for a quick visit to the nearest branch of Modelzone. -- Last edit: 2013-10-17 21:09:42 |
