Hello friends. I've been a huge fan of this site for a long time, but have never posted before. I would like to know more about the blue car shown in these pictures. It's from Outlander, Season 2, Episode "Dragonfly in Amber," the season finale. There are a lot of great cars in this episode, and I see none of them are identified here. I'm interested in this blue car especially. Is it a Rover? I'm outside the UK, so I don't know as much as I should. |

Yes, it's a Rover 3-Litre Coupe. I'll make a page for it, what's the star rating? |

Morning all! Big fan. I was hoping to get an ID on Roger's car in 2.13. Much appreciated! |

It's a late model Ford Consul MkII. GSV is not the car's original registration, being part of a series allocated as "age related" marks by the DVLA between 8/83 and 7/86, so is of no help in giving an age to the vehicle. My guess, from the car's appearance, would be 1960 or 61. -- Last edit: 2017-04-01 12:59:59 |

Plate check confirms a 1959 Consul, re-registered with this plate in August 87. Googling the plate gives a few pictures at recent events in the Lothians, south of Edinburgh. |

@jjayx: It's actually not any Consul, but a Consul de luxe. That is because it has a round badge at front and two chrome strips on the rear stem. Usually de luxe versions had different paint on the roof, but they were also available in single paint. To those not familiar with the de luxe verison, I can add that that was the four cylinder equivallent of the Zodiac. The Zodiac was in effect a Zephyr with extra "bling". Other examples of the extras were; upholstery in nylon cloth or leather, door trim in two colours, twin horns, windscreen washers, cigar lighter, vanity mirror and coat hooks. |

Good to know, zodiac. Thanks! |

Anyone following this programme - seems to have slipped through our net?? And with the US stuff filmed in 2016, might have a wider interest than just Brit nostalgists?? |

Other cars in 4.07 that don't have clear images. 1965 Ford Thunderbird, 1 star Unknown car interior, I believe it is a 1957 Buick Special. -- Last edit: 2019-09-14 20:53:50 |

I'm looking for the names of the cars in the season 2 finale, right at the end. It's dark red, and I thought it was a Saab, but I'm not sure. Year and make/model would be great. |

The blue Citroen on the right? |

Just a quick note for all those who haven't read the books. In seasons 2-3 Roger's car is a Ford Consul this is a pretty big omission as in the books it is clearly dectibed as an orange battered Morris (presumably an late 50s early 60s Minor). Anyway hope this helps. |

@dorsetguy: we can't validate your Princess entry unless you cut the black borders from the picture and put a role star rating. |

I did the crop, but don't have Starz, so I can't tell the star-rating. Does anybody out there watch Outlander? |
