The three London entries reused from "War And Order" and "London Can Take It!", both 1940 UK Government newsreel films. |

But these are just weekly reels featuring clips of existing movies, shown in cinemas at wartime to push patriotic feeling. Nothing really new. Should we really list these? I mean, for something like Lateef's filmrevy it's of course very interesting, but this is just footage of movies we most probably already have, not even original footage to mix with the stock footage. -- Last edit: 2024-08-24 20:28:11 |

I'm not a car expert as some of you. I just noticed that the first 6 "Боевой киносборник / Boyevoy kinosbornik" incorporate English shorts for about half their length. Then the last 6 are 100% Soviet and don't even hint at the British ally. On the airplane side, this turnaround means a drastic drop in their presence, with scenarios focusing on locals and soldiers (Red Army or not). On IMPDB, we've grouped these productions (each at least 45 minutes long) on a single page, as is customary for a TV or cinema series. I don't know the rules well enough to know if this is appropriate for IMCDB. |
