There is an unidentified taxi at 1:33:06 on the DVD. If we can include tanks, why not airplanes? Major Strasser arrives in a (1928?) Fokker "Super Universal" single-engine monoplane (painted w/ Reg# D-AGDF) and the Bergman and Henreid characters fly out in a Lockheed Electra 12A "Junior". |

Well, tanks don't fly ... ![]() Just kidding. We list vehicles that are being propelled by an engine and drive on- or off-road. This excludes planes, trains, ships and boats, carts drawn by horses or any other beast of burden, and bicycles and such alike. In the future there will be an additional site listing all these vehicles, that here only find their place in the comments. |

That may be a more common sight in America now that we are feeling the pinch at the pump! ![]() Of course we've also managed to inflate food prices so feeding a dobbin may not yeild much advantage. |

Try living in England. |
◊ 2008-04-22 11:04 |
Exactly - it's £6 ($12) /gallon over here. |

... And while one horse might be enough for a Pobieda, American cars might need two or more ... ![]() |

Actually Dudley, that's a bit of an exaggeration, if we judge it by the current average petrol price (about £1.08 per litre), then it's about £4.90 a gallon (UK gallons). But then you live in London... -- Last edit: 2008-04-22 11:13:13 |

G-MANN, don't be picky. We're promised the £5 gallon almost daily, and what with the price of crude going through the roof and the Grangemouth shutdown it'll probably be £6 by the end of the month ![]() |

Unleaded in London this morning: £1.12/l, diesel £1.19/l. |

Plans, yes, but future is the important word! ![]() I wrote about it somewhere on the forum. The realisation depends on a bigger project for which a collection of all filmed means of transport could be a trial project or just a spin-off. |

![]() On the IMDB page for this movie, there's a discussion about the car Rick drove in the Paris flashback. Ilsa was in the passenger seat and the car appeared to be right hand drive. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0034583/board/flat/124541367 -- Last edit: 2009-07-14 01:22:07 |

I watched this last night and wondered what that car was too - thats quite a distinctive ridge along the top of the bonnet hinges. |

Still nothing about the convertible or taxi? Any ideas? Thought the taxi might be a 1938 Buick Roadmaster, but too hard to tell. The convertible is killing me, though. Would love to know what it is. |

@G Mendes, no spliced or cropped images please. However the convertible should definitely be listed. |

No clear view of the truck was possible, that's a composite from several frames. |
◊ 2017-04-05 13:38 |
It's useful but for the main image we want an actual screenshot. This could be posted below. So you could submit the best view of this truck as it appears in the film. |
