This looks like it's going to be fun - lots of 60s rally cars ..... |

Yup - a famous one. Hands up everyone who had the Corgi model of FRW 306C - http://www.stevesphotoshop.co.uk/images/corgi_hillman_imp_rally_car_lg.jpg . |

Imp model in ''Racing Car Driver'': |

That is a very rare Code 3 version produced in 2006 by H&I Models (Portlethen, Aberdeen - they did several Corgi 1:36 Mini liveries as well) for an Imp Owners Club rally in Stirling - basically a Vanguards VA02618 metallic blue with St Andrews roof logo and new packaging picture of Stirling Castle, possibly 200 issued. |

Thanks for the info, a very nice model! |

A selection of 1960s toys in ''Castle'': The white-over-brown camper in the second thumb is a Corgi Toys #420 Ford Thames ''Airbourne'' Camper. Need help with the others! -- Last edit: 2012-10-19 21:18:20 |

Camper is actually pale pink over mauve - I had one which died in a sandpit but was a very good model. Cab is a Spot-On Thames Trader in British Rail blood-and-custard, bus is Morestone/Budgie Routemaster, Fiat 500 probably Polistil 1:25 (I had a blue one in Abarth 595 trim), big livestock lorry is BMC FF possibly Triang or similar. |

What are all the cars with white borders? Are these just photos shown? Or archive videos? |

These are archive videos shown with the white borders. |

I do not think this fits our new regulations... |

The rally/race cars are worth having as entries - most of them should be precisely identifiable. Tractors etc look good reference pictures for make/model - may be traceable to a particular collection or display event?? So I vote for validation on the basis of interesting/useful content (and the presence of an interesting Imp is purely coincidental). |

Well, it is car-related, at least. And made by the BBC, so not a too-obscure thing. |

I wonder how you got the .org replaced by a .com in that address Cars2 is typically something that a lot of people have seen and would check on the site. Many people here on the site saw it. This documentary has been seen maybe only by you on the site, and it is not very likely that people would search for it. I am not against listing it, but it is still a borderline case. |
