1966 Monte Carlo footage - when the three top finishing Minis and the 4th place Lotus Cortina of Roger Clark were disqualified to ensure that a Citroen would win. The excuse was the legality of a new type of headlight bulb, which - unfortunately for the credibility of this farce - was also fitted to the Citroen. #230 was P.Hopkirk/H.Liddon in GRX 5D, #242 (1st thumb) R.Aaltonen/A.Ambrose in GRX 55D, and #87 (2nd thumb) R.Baxter/J.Scott in GRX 195D. They used Austin badges for this event. |
