the scenes which represent the arrival in Rome in the film were shot in the center of Modena from the Duomo, The barchettas Ferrari 335 S replicas were Catheram rebodied at the Carrozzeria Campana in Modena also |

Replicas made to order (except the Jaguar) by Neil Layton (ex-Prodrive Motorsport who did the James Bond M3/DB5's /m2382320.html) and Campana bodyshop in Modena. Basically they used modified Caterham chassis with supercharged 2.0lt engines, 3d-scanned real cars and build either GRP or aluminium bodies depending on the scene -for crashes they used alu cars for realism. Plus they did some interiors. Also, Ferrari classics department provided original blueprints to help with exact dimensions and detailing. A 1:18 model was scanned in the case of the Ferrari 801 as today none exist.
