A 335 rather than a 290 or 315 S as at the time the movie takes place these were all either converted to later specs and/or took part in the 1957 MM race with the works team. Note that the script mentions King Hussein (presumably of Jordan) as the buyer of this racecar (to race privately or use as a road car even) but no such thing happened in reality. Though he did later have some other Ferraris.
