Yes, a picture was emailed with the Suburban, but is was too background and barely visible. |

i heard there are still skeletons in destroyed cars on that highway. a buddy told me that because he went there for 2 weeks he even sayed that the mercedes 190e is still there wit a burnt machine gun lying in the backseat. |

Yeah, I think it's called the Highway of Death. The U.S. Air Force bombed the highway back in 1991, and since there was so much damaged equipment left over after the attack, nobody ever bothered to pick it up. |

Filmed in the USA? All cars here are US made. If you compare it with the original pics of the Kuwait-war, you'll see, that there were many (the most) destroyed vehicles weren't American. So may DDR-made IFA W 50, Soviet military trucks, etc. And not to forget: irritatingly all the scenes from the original location were showing much older cars, older than the averagely seen cars in the Iraq then. The vehicles, shown in this movie, aren't no only "too American", they are too new either. |

You're so right, ingo. Example: /vehicle_264367.html Okay, that one's not American, but it still looks a little too new to me. -- Last edit: 2009-12-20 16:18:58 |

I mean with "American", US-versions, too. So all the Mercedes for example. |

According to the filming locations section on this film's IMDB page, the only non-US location was Mexico. Three Kings was also filmed in America. |

In real life A-10 attack is somewhat more devastating and scary. |

In fact, I can see large number of rounded-line GM trucks in various forms. And even Cadillacs. |
