Okey… (this is the American title) written and directed by Michael Winner. It's a mystery story, with hardboiled vilains playing it rough (at least four deads, notwithstanding the ones who'll be hanged after the action). Speaking of action, the movie is not very well played—actually, totally hammy. I don't know what became Terence Longdon, Diane Clare (ugh!), Robertson Hare, Dermot Walsh, Felicity Young, Douglas Muir but, gosh, how bad they were here. Donald Gray was alright, though. And there was one luscious little lady, not worse at acting than the others, but quite fine looking. Unfortunately I can't tell her name. The script is full of holes and of those "don't do that, stupid, call the police instead, now!" moments. But the flick is short —a mere hour— fast paced, with a correct score and nice shots in Cambridge. The MG A is the real star of the movie. -- Last edit: 2014-12-29 03:54:57 |
