I believe no-car has added quite a few horror movies, so that takes us up to four.! (I've No idea how many contributors, guests etc... we have registered on the site, but I know there's close to 50 admins now.! My guess would be over 200. Any stats/lists antp?) -- Last edit: 2007-06-25 02:07:49 |

Many thanks for creating the page. This movie is a real favourite of mine and being able to identify the cars is one great added bonus. |

I make 5! I love this little low budget horror flick, and the interwoven plot twists and message it has! I too have a colorized version, but I also have an original director’s cut...which is 84 mins, compared to the theatrical release...which was only 78 mins. I also have that, and both it & the longer/uncut director’s version are in original B&W. The cars & vehicles used are interesting...especially character Mary Henry’s Chevrolet Biscayne (seen and used throughout the film ). It was barely 2 years old when this movie hit theaters (1962), and most of the filming was done the year prior (1961) so in reality the car was only 1 year old when filming was done. Yet in the movie, the car is made to look like, run like, and treated as a vehicle that was anywhere from 10 to 15 years old! It just seemed strange to me?? |
