Good thing the director didnt forget about the camera on the overpass over the expressway, we'd have a listing for every car in California.

@tv boy, good job there but please use capital letters for the first letter in modelnames and such, also please add 'Unknown' in the modelfield and don't leave it blank.

Will do Atom. Still getting used to the new setup. And the lowercase letters were typos.

I guess its a habit from having to separate blurry or otherwise unacceptable pic from the good ones.

I get the feeling the film's "second unit" photographers set up on a freeway, on the first day of a holiday weekend (Memorial Day? Fourth of July?). There are an awful lot of station wagons in that footage.

Did anyone notice that the interior scenes when the family is riding in the car were shot in a 1960 Mercury Montclair Cruiser 4-door hardtop? It makes sense as the '60 is a much more spacious car than a '62 Monterey Custom 4-door hardtop.
