Looks more like a Mopar,(note rear view mirror location) maybe a 1959 Chrysler Windsor. |

I'm thinking this is a late-1950's Chrysler myself. -- Last edit: 2010-01-03 21:01:14 |

1960 Chrysler wagon looks similar. http://www.huffreport.com/2005/iola/1960%20Chrysler%20Wagon.jpg |

The bumper, headlights, "eyebrows", and hood badge all say '59 Chrysler. -- Last edit: 2010-01-03 21:41:04 |

Hood emblem looks different though, but everything else matches. Good Job! |

Skywatcher68 is right. 1959 Chrysler (convertible here): http://www.ch300imp.com/images/1959ChryslerNYConv2.jpg Or 1959 Chrysler Windsor 2-door: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3360/3418773431_edb774a735.jpg -- Last edit: 2010-01-03 21:52:18 |

based on your pics, Id say Chrysler New Yorker, comments? |

I would think a 1959 Chrysler Windsor Town & Country (=Station Wagon). |

Although I can't find a picture of the nose of a '59 New Yorker Town & Country (what I did find is a misidentified '58), I'll agree with Firebird86. The winged badge on the hood says "New Yorker" to me. -- Last edit: 2010-01-04 05:25:57 |

Thank You, Skywatcher68. In this case it should be a very rare car...!!! |

You're welcome. There were 16,329 New Yorkers built for '59 but I don't know how that breaks down for the different body styles. -- Last edit: 2010-01-06 01:18:55 |
