It’s a sea tractor, which is apparently the second incarnation of the Burgh Island Hotel sea tractor, which now has hydraulic drive and four wheels with rubber tyres, the subject picture shows chain drive to a tracked set-up. Maybe the current vehicle is easier to maintain than the earlier system. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_tractor -- Last edit: 2018-09-10 18:50:23 |

Later Burgh Island Sea Tractor has been listed previously here... /vehicle_61233-Burgh-Island-Sea-Tractor-1969.html http://imcdb.org/vehicle_61249-Burgh-Island-Sea-Tractor-1969.html Its worth listing the earlier version also. |

Dead centre glimpse of coupe roof, behind the Minor = Bond Equipe, probably the original 1964 Equipe GT (which we don't have any of), rather than the 1965+ Equipe GT4S (total so far = 9). |
