It was a movie uploaded by stronghold, but the car was deleted since long time. I can find the movie by searching in an old copy of the database that I have at home. But I do not remember that it was supposed being an italian car, the suggestions were BMW & Morris Marina if I remember well. -- Last edit: 2007-02-15 10:18:15 |

Why did we delete it?... this car was interesting and quality was enough to hope a later identification, and If I remember some of us asked to keep it as unknown till some one could find what it is! ... now I found something which could match quite well and I wanted to check it ... That's actually TOO BAD! |

It was far away in background (cut in corner of the screen), and unidentified since more than one year. There are lots of too-background unidentifiable cars that were deleted like that. We cannot list everything, and keep hundreds of unidentified pages Anyway, if I do backups it is not without reason http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/3237/089fe4.jpg Junkman suggested "a late 60s Moretti" I can recover the remaining of the discussion, but it was mostly about BMWs, Marina, Peugeot 505 break (), etc. -- Last edit: 2007-02-15 23:05:25 |

I agree partly with you Antoine, an unidentified car when very far away, blurry ... with no chance to be identified can be deleted. In general, there are no useful comments on those (except "too far" or "too blurry" " or " are you going to do as sixcyl with such pics" or .. )... BUT, when comments are sent by several of members trying to help in the identification with different suggestions, my opinion is that we shouldn't delete it in this case.. |

I agree that for this one I could have kept it. But in addition of being small, the picture is not very sharp, which may make the identifiation impossible. And it was cut from the original movie image, which is bad -- Last edit: 2007-02-15 20:59:11 |
