GodzillaFan54 ◊ 2020-10-04 13:54	Supposedly a third Kolchak TV movie was in the works called "The Night Killers" and would have had Kolchak in Hawaii working for someone in Honolulu. He would have found a cover-up involving UFOs, nuclear power plants, and important people being murdered and replaced by android doubles, sorta like a "Terminator meets Body Snatchers" kinda deal. Unfortunately, this third installment was scrapped in favor of a Kolchak TV series which was canceled after only 20 episodes, but like the two TV movies preceding it, it has achieved cult status and was even cited by Chris Carter himself as being the main inspiration for The X-Files. In fact I think this movie may have been loosely remade as the Supernatural episode, "Time Is On My Side."
