Why were so many 1920s-30s period films made in the 60s and 70s? As now our 40-year window produces many films from the 1950s-60s, I wonder were the stories that fresh, or were there simply more cars around to film? Examples: Genevieve, Bonnie and Clyde, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang |
