The latest version of Paul Murton's Scottish travelogue series, following Grand Tours of Scotland and Grand Tours of the Scottish Islands. Did not spot anything worth posting in S1 or S2 ep1, but a couple of things from S2 ep2 and will add anything from later S2 eps as they emerge. |

Planes for impdb from ep2.05 - the WW2 seaplane base(s) in Loch Ryan (around Stranraer and/or Cairnryan): - unknown (with another behind) - described as Sunderlands, nickname "the flying porcupines" for all the guns and other armaments |

S2 now complete. After the Argyll GT feature in ep2.06, I've realised Paul Murton is a car enthusiast, which explains the always interesting selection of cars and archive photos he slips into this and other series. I reckon he'd be an interesting addition to the Top Gear team in a sort of James May knowledgeable-but-underplaying-fake-excitement role .... |

Looks to be a pair of RAF Consolidated PBY Catalina flying boats. |
