Apparently, this show has an IMDB page, but it's rather blank with very little information listed. |
◊ 2017-10-22 18:44 |
Well, the show has only one episode |
◊ 2017-10-22 21:18 |
By the way, there was at least one car you missed, a certain yellow Volkswagen with black stripes that's become a bit of a Jalopnik icon. |
◊ 2017-10-22 21:36 |
Interesting use of a Chrysler Pacifica in the background there. |

There were a few cars placed on the track, apparently they're used as obstacles during the race. Forth thumbnail can be removed once the pages are approved, since it's the front of /vehicle_1078298.html, which is a Saturn SW. /vehicle_1078296.html (found this great side view of the car on Google: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ATtF11h-Zqs/maxresdefault.jpg) and /vehicle_1078289.html are both Chevrolet Cavaliers, if I recall properly, so is the third thumbnail. Next to last thumbnail has another Chevrolet Cavalier, a Plymouth/Dodge Neon, and at least two Nissan Sentra [B13]s, plus the already mentioned Pacifica. The side-by-side utility vehicle with the flag is a Kawasaki Mule. In the thumbnail with the Super Duty tow truck, there's ANOTHER Cavalier (silver coupe), Honda CR-V (red), and a nice white Jeep Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer. The school bus can be seen here on Google Street View: Link to "www.google.com" It's a GMC, and it's been sitting in the same spot for years, that image is from 2016, and an earlier view from 2012 shows it was there then, too. -- Last edit: 2017-10-22 22:46:24 |

Episode 2 trailer is out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1cy9asq5Fo This week features a 1991 Yugo GV Plus (Link to "jalopnik.com") vs a 1974 Volkswagen Typ 1 that's had it's engine swapped (making it the second Beetle to appear in as many episodes of this show, except this one has an actual part in it). |
◊ 2017-10-26 04:59 |
Cars featured in Ep.2: - 1991 Yugo GV Plus (3 stars) - 1974 Volkswagen [Typ 1] (3 stars) - 2013+ Nissan NV200 NYC Taxi (2 stars) - 2016+ Toyota RAV4 Hybrid NYC Taxi (2 stars) - 2011+ Dodge Grand Caravan (1 or 2 stars, it's the camera vehicle that follows Mike's Yugo, and can be seen behind it in some interior shots) - 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan [Typ AD1] (1 star, not really featured, but it's BRAND NEW and has a major frontal shot in traffic in front of the Yugo, might be worth listing for the fact that it is brand new, wouldn't be the first AD1 on the site, but it would be the first US-spec one) - BMW M1 (2 stars) - Lancia Delta S4 Stradale (2 stars) - Lancia 037 Stradale (2 stars) Plus, there were a LOT of random traffic and junkyard cars seen as well. |

Link to "jalopnik.com" Episode 3 preview, airing, as usual, at 8pm EST and PST. Only one vehicle shown in this 3 minute preview, a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor bodied 'Tuff Truck'. This one, in particular: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/m2GBJ18jK3Q/maxresdefault.jpg |

Will it appear in YT? |
◊ 2017-11-01 14:32 |
The episode itself? Probably not. Fusion's site only has the first full episode available, last week's isn't even up. Not sure if they plan to add the rest eventually or not. |

Okay |

Episode 2 is up on Fusion's site now. I've started making captures. |
◊ 2017-11-03 04:10 |
So, it seems they're gonna be putting them on the site a week after they first air on TV. Makes sense. |
◊ 2017-11-03 11:10 |
How the work goes? Do you start to add it? |

28 Hyundai Veracruz models on the site, might be worth listing. The Niro is definitely worth listing, similar to the Tiguan already listed. Sadly, as otherwise worthy as the Model X is of a page, the image is too blurry. Not many Kubota RTVs on the site, might be worth a page. The ForTwo and Pacifica MAY be worth a page, given how new they are, but I'd leave those up for debate for now. |
