One of if not the best kids' show on air at the time, if you have kids, don't hesitate to show them this series. It's currently taking the world by storm. |

Not sure the Land Cruiser is not on the generic side? |
◊ 2022-12-29 20:30 |
It's the first car I could readily recognize. Might show up again in the background with a front view in a later episode. The closest thing to a real car I had until then was a generic VW bus in "Markets". Maybe it's just a coincidence, but the old abandoned tractor in "Grandad" seems to be modeled after a 20 series John Deere from the late sixties or early seventies. And I speak from experience, my own grandad having owned a '74 3130 for almost fifty years. Not often you see dirt moving equipment in animated series based off of real machines: Link to "oldtractorpictures.com" W212 E-Class in "The Quiet Game". Still too generic imo. Range Rover in "Octopus". This is apparently Chloe's dad's car, so we might get to see it in another episode. (I wonder if the name "Range Rover" had some sort of dog connection in the Blueyverse?...) -- Last edit: 2023-01-02 15:45:18 |

If anything worth list, it would be just the Falcon Ute & Hilux. |
◊ 2023-01-02 18:31 |
I didn't list either of those vehicles. I think I know what you mean by the Falcon Ute, that truck is rather generic though. And the Hilux would be Uncle Rad's truck in "Double Babysitter" (also generic) unless you mean the Prado? |

Thats the green ute and white ute in Tradies - There is also purple versions of the ute in the Rubbish Dump episode. This was on my vague to-do list, but I'm glad someone has done it! |

I saw the utility truck in Tradies, but wasn't sure if it was based on something real. There's also Mackenzie's family's pickup which I thought might be some slightly more obscure Chinese ute as I couldn't match it with the Japanese (as long as it's really based on something of course) -- Last edit: 2023-01-06 15:36:56 |

FINALLY! Someone makes a Bluey page on here! But isn't the white pickup from "Tradies" s'posed to be a Navara? That's what it is according to a user on the Bluey wiki. They said it was a 1987 Nissan Navara, and it's a pretty good match. |

@nffan2019 - The SUV you submitted looks too generic. It's probably why it was not entered originally. You can put in the comments here. -- Last edit: 2023-03-31 21:54:33 |

Newest episode definitely has an old yellow Fiat 500 in the car park. I’ll add it tomorrow and check if there were any other real cars. I wonder if someone on the team was a Lupin the 3rd fan?? -- Last edit: 2023-04-23 22:49:45 |
◊ 2023-04-24 18:25 |
I've added a yellow Fiat 500 as seen in the episode titled 'Relax', as seen in the background at the parking lot scene, though I'm too lazy to find the full episode so I just took it from a Bluey YouTuber. |

HOLY CRAP, I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE |
◊ 2023-04-24 18:29 |
The 1 pending contribution was indeed the Fiat, but thank you for your attention |

i'll assume yours is the one without subtitle and Youtube stuff.. -- Last edit: 2023-04-24 18:31:53 |

Cars from Sunday’s episode: I think the orange hatchback (Winton's dad's car) might be based on something real? The Terriers' mom's car might be a Landy Discovery III? Now we also know what Bella's car (the black van) looks like. I already sketched an assumption before Season 3C even aired. (She has nine kids... -- Last edit: 2023-05-29 20:05:14 |

https://blueypedia.fandom.com/wiki/Fun_in_the_Car! https://blueypedia.fandom.com/wiki/Vehicles#The_Heelers'_Car wiki says the car is a 2012 Jeep Wrangler. |
◊ 2023-07-31 03:50 |
if Jeep was selling a Wrangler that looks like this it would be way less popular.. the only Wranglerish stuff it has is round headlights and a spare tire on the back.. -- Last edit: 2023-07-31 03:51:44 |

Looks like it has a current gen Jimny grille, but beyond that it may as well be anything with four wheels. -- Last edit: 2023-07-31 05:21:51 |
◊ 2023-08-04 07:45 |
Agree. I don't see any side that look Wrangler to me. But will at long as no one decided to change it , that's what wiki says. |

Some dude on YouTube by the name of "Blueymania" did a video talking about cars seen in the show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZeRLPXFvAI So maybe we can add more vehicles to this list, considering that a majority of the cars he talks about in the video I linked look pretty close to the IRL counterparts. |
◊ 2023-08-28 15:52 |
some conclusions are.. well.. |

Some one on reddit did a reg check. https://www.reddit.com/r/bluey/comments/16bei9j/bandit_drives_a_pajero/ And lead to a new possibility of Heeler's car being a Pajero. Which also fit Blueymania's guess of Heeler's car being a "Dodge Raider" , since the Raider is re-badged Mitsubishi Montero , which is the USDM-spec of Pajero. -- Last edit: 2023-09-07 05:21:00 |
◊ 2023-09-07 15:21 |
Yeah, but the Dodge Raider is a first-gen Pajero... |
◊ 2023-10-09 01:25 |
In the US market the first gen Pajero was called the Montero. |

Good thing this is Australia. |
◊ 2024-04-14 22:45 |
The Sign is finally out. And what an episode it is. Go watch it right now. I think Frisky drives a Twingo III (do they sell those in Australia?) then there’s Bucky’s hatchback, Winton’s dad’s car (which I swear is a Nissan Rasheen) and the police car which I think is a Holden Caprice. There might be some real traffic cars as well. Will add them next week. -- Last edit: 2024-04-14 22:46:14 |

Older Bluey in the new episode Surprise arrives in a white, presumably electric sedan. The scene seems to be set ~15 years in the future and it is a rather generic model, but seems to be based on a Model 3/Ioniq 6 style car. |
◊ 2024-04-23 14:21 |
Yes, Older Bluey does drive what appears to be a Model 3, I hadn't had the time to list it yet. |

An automotive scene for which no vehicle is seen: in the newest minisode ("Three Pigs") while telling the girls what the wolf was accused of, Bandit says: "...and that Monaro's stolen!" That'd be the first time I heard an animated kids' show reference a real life car by name! -- Last edit: 2024-07-04 16:32:45 |
