Part of the first season of Prisoner was filmed in my grandfather's house in Toorak, in 1978. You can see part of the house in the background of this shot: /vehicle_723388-Porsche-911-E-901-1973.html The house is still there, at 12 Torresdale Road, but he hasn't lived there since 1991 and the exterior of the house looks quite different now - it's been rendered and painted white. -- Last edit: 2014-08-18 19:49:15 |

I noticed these were originally filmed by videocamera |

The show was filmed on video, yes, hence the low quality. My original screen grabs that I uploaded back in February were taken from Youtube. I had always planned on these just being temporary until I eventually replaced them with DVD quality grabs. I recently obtained the DVDs, and noticed that the quality is only somewhat better than Youtube (which seem to be also be sourced from the DVDs). However, a) my new ones are about 10% larger than the Youtube grabs (about 490 pixels high, vs 450 pixels), b) the ratio is corrected (now at approx. 1.31:1 instead of 1.38:1), and c) obviously the sharpness/clarity is improved due to lack of Youtube compression. In total I have slightly over 100 saved images that need to be uploaded. -- Last edit: 2014-07-30 17:30:46 |

name them with vehicle number (e.g. 673376.jpg for /vehicle_673376-Toyota-Corona-T130-1979.html ) then put the zip on http://ks3.antp.be/upload.php and notify me |

Entire show complete. Very time consuming going through nearly 700 episodes. Also cost me hundreds of dollars buying the complete DVD set, but I was able to sell it and make my money back -- Last edit: 2015-12-31 19:20:18 |

No, it is just longer for you to upload because of the file size I'll check that |

Done. For many the new pic was nearly identical, I am not sure it was really worth the work of redoing them. |

There's not a huge difference, but definitely a noticeable difference (for me at least). My new grabs come directly from the DVD, instead of Youtube, so they're full size (576i). Youtube reduces size slightly to 480p. And the aspect ratio is fixed too - all mentioned in my comment above. |
