Why do Humongus's guys always dress up like bike cops with studded gloves and mouth covers? The white car frame outside the compound is a VF Valiant(Later switched for the wrecked 1973 LTD). There is also a white 1975 Chevy G-Series seen leaving the compound. -- Last edit: 2007-10-14 21:11:00 |

I know there is another Holden in the chase scene, the car spends most of it's time in the background but can be seen very well from behind with the top down angles over the cars, the back is of a (circa) 74 - 75' Holden Statesman, but the vehicle has no front quarters or grille, or even bumper for that matter, just an exposed engine. I did just notice that it is listed, but the shot of it is terrible, so maybe someone should get another one to make it more clear. |

15 of the 16 pictures were validated. Prologue has vertical border as appeared in the movie, but the horizontal border has been removed. Here are vehicles that was from Mad Max, Movie, 1979. Nightrider's Monaro, Big Bopper's Ford Falcon, George Miller's Bongo, and Max's Yellow Interceptor. One picture did not make the cut: The one on the left. Worth a page of own? Reply to Nightrider's "Any chance of ID?" Can't ID the compound car (but would like to know), but the car intercepting it is the red bat car. Note spoiler and side pipes. -- Last edit: 2019-10-19 05:51:08 |

Two V8 Interceptors were used in the movie the second one was a 1974 Ford Fairmont XB https://youtu.be/-e-iJYfcTgo?t=447 the best way to tell the two cars apart is the fact that the Fairmont did not have windshield wipers -- Last edit: 2022-12-29 22:05:33 |
