I own "antiques": 03/1983 Skoda Garde (Pra-Rapid) and 10/1983 BMW E28 525e. Skoda - my first car - is dusty "mummy" now, waiting for the full renovation. Around 2001 she looked that:


5er preserves zero-rust condition, thanks to 23 years in Monte Carlo climate and keeping away salty & dirty winter roads in Poland. Monte Carlo parking (no) rules gave few scratches and dents at original body panels with factory Opalgrün metallic paint. Too bad. After some treatments on mechanical organs (due to past owner's too short and sloooooow-moooootion trips), then gently run-in, deeper breathing on +100 km journeys, she runs very well now as silent, brisk, surefooted cruiser, with outstanding mileage when you drive middle-fast and fluently (just 7 l/100 km - 40 mpg UK / 33.6 mpg US - is easy to reach at 110 km/h cruising speed; oldie powered by petrol 2.7-litre engine matted with automatic transmission). She serves legendary sheer driving pleasure in pure saute form..


Since January 2009 my excellent long-range coach is DuchXess, old faitful 3/2000 Citroen Xantia 1.8-16V.

These elegant wedged lines by Bertone make a deep impression today yet.
We perfomed flauless trouble-free +130,000 km and counting.
Deserves my respect & affection. AC works still!

Since February 2017, on my district's patroling I drive Cruddy late 2013 Toyota Yaris Hybrid.

It's simply, analogue & dull. And teases me with poor quality (!) in many details.
However, Hybrid Synergy Drive is Machiavellianly clever powerplant.
Geee, I've been became the hybrid freak!
