Sorry, I meant what did you think about the series, was it good? |

not really they make a lot of random jumps, for example from Senna first win at 1985 Portogal we jump directly to 1988 , no mention of the fabulos 1986 season also they portray Senna as the eternal victim fighting the higher powers (since a brazilian production it's to be expected) we also don't get much of the other drivers either, just of Alain Prost (and not that much really) and Nikki Lauda in 2 scenes, but nothing on say Nigel Mansall , Schumacher etc -- Last edit: 2024-11-29 22:08:16 |

Thanks I was just wondering if other drivers had a significant space, and how his fight with Prost was portrayed. |

As already said elsewhere they built replicas of the F1 cars, about 20 cars. And in 2025 you could buy yours too.. https://uk.motor1.com/news/708923/senna-netflix-tv-series-f1-cars/ "... Crespi was hired by the production company... was tasked with building the cars that will appear on screen... The monohulls have been built to meet safety standards and competition homologations. The cabin and chassis retain the original dimensions of the models shown. We have optimised rider comfort by maintaining the original driving position", added Crespi. The company has indicated that the models will go on sale in 2025. No details were given on the mechanics or price of these units. Four models will be available: "McLaren 85", "Lotus 86", "Ferrari 90" and "McLaren 91"..." |

Apparently a lot of the track scenes were filmed at Snetterton circuit in Norfolk, pretending to be more exotic tracks around the world. Norfolk is flat - very very flat - which has been causing amusement |

It's the other way around. Link to "www.itv.com" |

Genuine Snetterton view - looks like the same buildings, but some digital tweakery to disguise them in "my" photo above (from a BBC newspage, but can be found on Snetterton facebook and has spread elsewhere). The grid is very English - a club historic event - Minis, Cortinas, Jag Mk2, Riley 1.5 plus a stray Falcon (but there's a handful of these as retro racers in UK) and pretty well everything is RHD - so that element of the photo is not Argentine. Another genuine Snetterton pic of much the same structures |

I'm pretty sure that the Snetterton with mountains picture that you posted is a joke image that the BBC wrongly thought came from the show. The BBC report specifically says "Snetterton confirmed it had no involvement in the filming of Senna." |
