 The spare wheel top passes over the hood line, together with small headlights. No doubt for me, it is a poor Bentley: 1936 SS Jaguar 1 1/2 Litre.

 Nobody says something about the Riley1948 which appeared here and there, including this shot. Why a good movie would include a 48 car in a 1940 time?

The design of the Riley from an aesthetic point of view is decidedly pre-war and the person in charge of the props may have thought that a few car buff cranks on imcdb didn’t outweigh the saving in time and money that could be made.
