Only knows the body is by Vetter, I have replied the same model in the past but there is no result on the chassis. I found this "thing" called Vetter from the following article from a magazine. Later somebody said that Vetter is the bodybuilder of this bus... (written in Traditional Chinese) https://www.chinamotorbus.com/photo/automobile/automobile-93-feb-06.jpg |

Vetter Karosserie- und Fahrzeugbau GmbH was very close to Mercedes-Benz (literally and figuratively), so a Mercedes-Benz chassis is very likely. While I'm not fully convinced they are all the same, these are all unidentified airport buses of that sort in question: Here is the one from 3asv6's link Here are further buses bodied by Vetter and here is no link at all. |

the only other hint for combination Mercedes-Benz/Vetter is coming from vintage Quiz card i remember playing with. The card is depicting Kässbohrer Jet 90 but mentions b) Daimler-Benz/Vetter as well. |

make is Walter Vetter Karosserie- und Fahrzeugbau GmbH in Stuttgart in 1969 it is a 2 directions apron bus on Vetter chassis developed by Vetter himself: It is a low floor integral chassis with oversize track width no other manufacturer has, except Neoplan. no Mercedes chassis at all. https://truckinfocus.com/magazine/article/airfield-vehicles BTW that is the reason for no other name is mentioned in literature, than Vetter. It might have a Mercedes engine anyway. |

Thank you 3asv6! it seems MY is 1975 for Hong Kong variant and type could be HATS than. I'm now speculating HATS = Hong Kong Airport Transport System 1969 has been prototype. It took a while but we identified it together :-) |
