In fact according to period brochures the facelifted (Plus) Cargos were re-named to "Polonez Caro Plus Cargo Van" (vs. "Polonez Cargo"/"Polonez Cargo Van" before facelift): Link to "1.bp.blogspot.com" And simialr thing happend to ambulance, which was now called "Polonez Caro Plus Ambulans Sanitarny" (vs. earlier "Polonez Ambulans Sanitarny"): Link to "1.bp.blogspot.com" In other words the linekd brochures confirms this what was not very celarly written in book of M. Górski, that both pre and post-facelifted ZTS ambulances weren't named "Cargo" - that this name was reserved only for "civilian" vans. On the other hand, if some day, someone will see brochure with amublance described as "Cargo" I also won't be very surprised. Somwhere before 1997 ZTS has been took over by Tongheung and company changed its name to "Tongheung-ZTS" (and under this name they bodied "Pluses") - all of this expand model name and extra info to some record size. |
