Everything is from metal instead of rubber, the sliding windows are smaller - let's make it 1972. The last window is divided - this can make it 1980, but God knows how it was in "Russian" version (so "01" was the codename for SU?). |

But carefully ![]() Russian versions: 260.01 - exported to Russia 1973-1984 (first series only for Ukraina, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and bigger cities of Russia, like Leningrad or Moscow); windows like in picture 260.17 - ? 260.27 - exported to Russia 1981-1988; two doors 260.36 - ? 260.37 - exported to Russia 1984-1991; it's modernized 260.01, wiht all windows open in 1/2 (not 1/4, like in 260.01) 260.50 - from 1990, another modernisation, but inside - new seats, new cabin http://gortransport.kharkov.ua/routes/ps.php?ps_id=18 |

So I'will have to correct the 260.37. In other countries (at least some) the "1/2 sliding" windows were avialable since 1975. Edit: About the 260 from the pic. In fact it can be indeed a new 1980 bus. I didn't notice the badge, which was used since ca 1977. -- Last edit: 2009-07-31 17:40:49 |
