1975 or 1976, either a 2500 or 3500. Yes, they had four digits as weight designations. http://www.oldcarbrochures.com/main.php?g2_itemId=49031 -- Last edit: 2010-06-26 17:28:21 |

You're right about the year range. About the names, that has been discussed extensively before. But anyways, just to repeat: GMC seemed to have always changed how it marketed it's trucks. However, all 1975-1980 GMC trucks only had two digits on the side name badge on the front side fenders. That is why given that, we identify the 1975-1980 models with only two digits. Here's even an article about a 1975 truck that clearly labels it as a K-25, not K-2500: http://www.73-87.com/7387info/articles/76k2501.jpg And it's never just the number as the name (as has been said many times before). It's either C-** or K-**. This one is a C-Series and I strongly believe it's a C-25, but I'm not 100% sure. It also has a "Wideside" bed. |

The old main image had a better shot. Unfortunately, I don't have the old image on my hard drive anymore to show what it looked like. |
