XC 6097 = mid-1920. Reused here. As all our Unic 12/14 hp taxis seem to be UK sightings, made for UK seems appropriate for a block update. Was there any UK assembly?? Were other names used in France or other countries - 12/14 hp seems a particularly British title and not transferable?? |

Unic taxis used in London were all an imported chassis with bodywork built in the UK AFAIK. I believe the chassis was specifically for London taxi use because of the London taxicab regulations. |

Unic chassis originally imported then built in UK (at least before April 1924). I will look for further details if possible. "The Unic has steadily increased its reputation for reliability and consistent running since its first appearance in numbers, and it is new entirely built in this country." So should we go for block update - Origin F, made in UK, made for GB - which seems applicable for all the permutations?? |

Yes, agreed. |
