This could also be an earlier Leyland equivalent. Between 1980 and 1982, Leyland Tractors produced their equipment in the 'Golden Harvest' colour scheme, with gold paint for the tin-work, and black for the chassis and engine. Production was switched to Marshall's plant at Gainsborough after Leyland Tractors became defunct due to a series of factory strikes. The decals have been stripped off this example, so there is no way of telling if this is a Marshall or earlier Leyland. About the model, this looks to me like a 4WD 704/804/904 model than a 702 ... |
