Question: is the odometer in Swedish cars in Scandinavian miles rather than kilometers? The ads are in "mil" Link to "www.tradera.com" (8700 mil! =87,000km) but that could be just the description. |

Mil not to be confused with miles! Scandinavian odometers (and road signs) show km like everywhere else, it's just easier to say 8700 mil than 87000 km ![]() |

Okay, that would be confusing otherwise... |

Like everywhere else? |

I was actually looking for something like this![]() for my car papers, but for a SAAB and maybe from a Swedish dealership, but there's very little on there. Link to "www.tradera.com" Too old and "Lite smutsig, men går säkert lätt att tvätta av" (why don't they just rinse it off in stead of writing that) |

I can check the junkyard or if anyone I know have one laying around if you like. |

That would be nice yes, if you come across one... I'll cover your expenses of course. (Or perhaps you need something from Belgium) m.pfaffeneder works at a Ford dealer in Bayern, that would also be interesting. |

@chico - do you want a SAAB biro by Ballograf? I got it off ebay a few years back for diddley squat. Seems unused but the ink has dried and it only takes Ballograf refills which are unobtainable here.![]() If yes, PM me. |

Swedish odometers and speedometers are in kilometers. |

Very generous @dsl I don't know if I can find Ballograf refills here either... I'll PM. |
