i think the reason would be because a snowy road isn't the best condition for a handicaped person who drives a sports bike. He might have thought it was safer to use a car. But i didn't know that a Dynasty was such a kind of car, why is it?  |

This car is one of the symbols of House being unwilling to change, unable to accept changes in his life. He want everything to stay as it is, as Wilson points out to him in S3E24. He's been driving this Dynasty for 20 years and isn't attracted to the feeling of having to accept a new car, another change in his daily life. I remember seeing an episode where he made some new kids wash his car, but they took his keys and drove it to the car wash instead. I thought it looked like a Spirit or an Acclaim at the time (I guess I was wrong). I agree with Rubix, this car symbolizes House perfectly. The Dynasty is an example of Chrysler being stubborn and not wanting to change to the modern aerodynamic styling, just like how House is stubborn and doesn't want to change his "unique" ways. |

I'm curious, I noticed that when I searched for this, people are saying that he owns a 1988 model. Was this confirmed anywhere? The reason why I ask is that I own a 1992 model and it doesn't look much different than mine. I owned it for 2 years before I gave it to my son. He loves House and thinks that owning a car like his is pretty cool. I thought House ramming his car into Cuddy's house was awesome! The Dynasty is built like a Sherman tank. You just can't kill it. |

It is definitely either an '88 or '89, since it has no airbag. They were added for the 1990 model year. |
