This one was E44FFV, a Northern Counties-bodied Dodge S56 new to Preston. It appears in the story 'Ring Out your Dead' and in 'Murder on St O'Malley's Day' - I guess this pics are from the latter, since 'Ring Out Your Dead' also features Leyland-National KPA372P in Aldershot and District heritage livery, although it was formerly Alder Valley 221. |

1987 registered on DVLA as Renault. The vehicle details for E44 FFV are: Date of Liability 01 07 2009 Date of First Registration 18 08 1987 Year of Manufacture 1987 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 3860CC Vehicle Colour BLUE edit: After 1987 the Dodge name was dropped so make Renault only (Mk.2 - rectangular headlights). Thumbnails for episode 5.02 show round headlamps Dodge 50 Series Mk.1 and for the year 1986 only the 50 Series (last year for the Mk.1 - round headlamps as here) carried both 'Dodge' name and 'Renault' badging so branded 'Dodge-Renault'. This is the last of the 50 Series Mk.1 so Dodge-Renault (DVLA manufacurer not accurate in this case). -- Last edit: 2009-12-07 21:29:46 |

Yeah, I agree with Sunbar. All Dodge and Renault-Dodge vehciles were remarketed as Renault. So I'd prefer this would be 1984-1986 instead. |

Sunbar notes that: So Dodge-Renault would be correct in this case. |

Despite DVLA or other information it continued to be branded as Dodge (despite the small Renault logos) only after end of 1987 was it rebranded and revised as Renault. http://archive.commercialmotor.com/article/12th-november-1987/89/renault ![]() |
