If this was UK, I'd say it was an Austin WF, but with the lack of badging, and the Burma location, could be called something else.

It wasn't filmed in Burma. Perhaps you got confused with another film.

And even if it was, the Austin would be very well possible as it would have been in the Empire.

EDIT: Introduced in 1965, 17 years after independence, so not possible.

Yes I did, not Burma but Antigua WI. The choices would be Austin, Morris, BMC or possibly Leyland. The design of grille would be Austin in U.K., but may represent something different elsewhere.
