I dont think it is a 1800 SA.I have a 1968 SA and the difference is very obvious. Maybe i am wrong as you cant c the front clearly . Maybe i must post a Photo. |

Doesn't look to me as if it is the ex-Glas bodywork, and has 4 headlights. [E3] 2500?? |

Err, dsl, you are mixing up two different models, the "Neue Klasse"-BMW with the Glas 1700 TS The BMW had nothing do do with the Glas. It's even the ancestor of the still current BMW-design as it wss the first model with the "Hofmeister-Linie". The Glas was rebadged as BMW in its last weeks of life, that's all. |

See http://autocade.net/index.php/BMW_1800_SA,_2000_SA . While I think this is probably [E3], it's worth looking at the local 1804/2004 as well eg Link to "www.oldtimerwebseiten.com" , http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_2004 . -- Last edit: 2011-08-16 22:09:28 |

Oh, you mean that ZA-spec model. Rather not an E3, it looks indeed more like a 1804/2004, as the back is very Glas-ish, but the front lower as at the E3. |

Does it look better now? It's indeed South African designed (Glas) BMW 1804/2004. First one! |

2004 more probable than 1804 according to this: https://driventowrite.com/2020/02/14/1968-bmw-glas-1800-2000-south-africa/ (1280 vs 570 produced) |
