2004+ Mitsubishi Lancer [CS] |

Indonesia built the Lancer for their market for this generation. Trim levels seemed to differ based off what I could dredge up. (This is pulled from Wiki but I am really having a tough time confirming Jakarta built these from an official source). |

@dhill_cb7 I guess I would clarify this up... Already said by you before in another entry, there are two trim levels for Indonesia, GLXi and SEi. For my further more explanation, the 2004 facelift models in Indonesia were all powered by the 1.8 4G93 I4. The 2003 pre-facelift models (the first year for this generation came to the Indonesian market), there was used to be a 1.6 4G18 I4, standard only on the GLXi, but that engine got dropped after the 2004 facelift. For 2004-2005, the differences between the GLXi and SEi for what I've known (at least so far) is that the SEi have foglights. For 2006, the SEi gets a bodykit to further differentiate from the GLXi. For Indonesian police variants, well, due to limited search results, these two and the one from my old account are the only ones I can get... I could assume they've likely used the GLXi. The first thumb is the one previously posted with my old account above (re-posting this to my current account here because why not?), it appears to be a GLXi as it has foglight fillers, which painted in white by accidental reasons. The second thumb is almost a nightmare to identify, but I am 99% sure that's a GLXi with aftermarket foglights. The third thumb is probably a GLXi, just with mods like a red Mitsubishi logo on the front, but I can't hardly see if this one has the foglight fillers. For the models with the 1.8 4G93, the chassis code is likely [CS5A], since we have only two wagon versions of this listed with the [CS5W] code. Lastly, a tip of avoidance; On the Indonesian used car websites, if you're seeing used 2004-2012 CS Lancers listed for sale with "1.6" in the title, don't use that for a reference, the reason why that's because those are listed incorrectly, the sellers didn't look up the official papers from Mitsubishi's Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors. -- Last edit: 2022-03-04 12:09:37 |
