Slightly unexpected mix - a German plate Opel (Rekord D??) in UK footage. |

Rekord D Coupé or a two-door Sedan? Not exactly visible from this angle. -- Last edit: 2017-07-23 21:12:12 |

Blurry, and far away, but a sharp rear side window corner, straight (same size all the way or about) C-pillar, a tall air vent in C-pillar, so a Coupé it is, a rarity in UK? |

It would be fairly rare if a UK plate (the Commodore was the more common coupe version here, but still rare). However this is a foreign white rear plate with a national plaque - I think it's a German plate, although might be Belgium. |

So at least not another 'made for' issue then |

It's a West German plate. The Belgian plates back then were smaller. |

D is Mk, not Chassis. |
